Vi i RAW Klinikken hjelper deg på veien mot din optimale helse!

Kjære leser,

2019 er godt i gang, også her på RAW Klinikken. For de av dere som ikke kjenner oss, består klinikken av osteopat og fysioterapeut Carl Christian Aasheim, og meg selv, kiropraktor Kristine Skogseid.

Det som skiller oss fra de andre behandlerne du kjenner er at vi begge har videreutdannet oss innenfor trening og jobber med frisktrening hver eneste dag. Det vil si at utover å ha pasienter på benken, trener vi folk sterkere og mer robuste i treningssalen.

Det er gjennom å fokusere på det friske, det funksjonelle og det som bygger styrke, smidighet og balanse at vi bygger god helse over tid. Hva betyr det i praksis for deg som nettopp har fått en prolaps, en korsbåndskade eller en annen smertefull lidelse? Vel, det betyr at du kun behøver å gå ett sted (!) for å få all den hjelpen du trenger for å komme raskere og sterkere tilbake til ditt normale liv. Ikke bare diagnostiserer og behandler vi, vi motiverer deg til endring som setter deg i førersetet i eget liv.

Det samme gjelder for deg som tidligere har hatt en skade, for deg som frykter å få en eller for deg som har fokus på forebygging. Du finner all kunnskapen, erfaringen og engasjementet hos oss. Ja, du kan nesten ane at vi la fra oss all sjenanse og blyghet i året som gikk, men det er ikke uten grunn – vi vil at du skal vite at vi kan hjelpe deg på veien mot din optimale helse!

Til sist, et par linjer til ettertanke:

  • Du blir mer motstandsdyktig mot skader hvis du er i god form. Samtidig øker skaderisikoen hvis du trener mye. Det gjelder med andre ord å finne den riktige balansen.
  • Vi skiller mellom ekstern belastning og intern belastning. Med ekstern belastning menes distanse, hastighet, vekt, repetisjoner osv. Intern belastning er den individuelle responsen på denne belastningen. Vi er alle forskjellige, nøkkelen er å finne den dosen som gjør deg best til enhver tid.

Vi får aldri nok av spennende utfordringer og fine folk. Våre dører er åpne, varmt velkommen til RAW Klinikken på Lysaker brygge.
